The Jawa Nation Grows!

I have set up a blog for Jawa Nation!  What is it? This is a guild that I am setting up for the new MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic.  Through their website players have the option of setting up guilds early and hitting the ground running!  Currently, I have the guild registered as a Sith guild doing primarily PvE.  But all of this can be changed.  Those details are not important any way.

Why join a guild? Well, if you enjoy playing MMORPGs, being part of a guild is a huge help and greatly increases the enjoyment level for all involved. It makes it easier to get groups because you have a ready source of like minded individuals to help with quests and tasks. Plus it helps with establishing friends and communication. While you certainly don't need to be part of any guild to enjoy playing the game, and some of you actually prefer going solo more, in every MMORPG I have ever played, I have had a better experience when part of a guild.

Why join Jawa Nation?  Well, this is not going to be just a Star Wars guild! This guild will carry over into the new 40k MMORPG that is on it's way as well.  I am launching it as a social group that spans games and genres.

If you have never played a MMORPG, now is your chance!  This is an exciting time as two games that promise to be monsters in the gaming world loom on the horizon.

I created a blog for Jawa Nation. You can find it HERE. Go become a follower and keep tabs on this exciting new group as it grows.

To join the Jawa Nation guild, visit the guild site HERE.

This is gonna be awesome!

What is a PvE

@Black Matt : You probably already know this and I am just playing your little game... but PvE stands for Player versus environment. As opposed to PvP which is player versus player.

PvE is Player vs Environment. In these games there are two main things to do. PvP where we fight other human players. In PvE the focus is on overcoming challenges presented by the game itself. Quests, group challenges and other things. PvE is more user friendly since getting owned by some 13 year old then watching him dance on your corpse can be rather demoralizing. PvE allows for large groups of people to unite in a common goal of say, killing one huge boss that takes an army to beat.

Matt is not a hard core gamer so I can accept that he does not know what PvE is!

I meant no harm :) However, I have fallen for that ploy before...

What happens in the ploy? hehe you have me curious.

Nothing really...

It seems to be a popular trolling technique is all. Ask a simple question that you know the answer too, just to annoy people or see if you can bait the helpful suckers. They then continue to bombard you with nonsense questions until you either ignore them or just go away.

I really was not expecting Black Matt to be attempting to do the same, but past experience has made this hermit wary...

I see this all the time in "General Chat" in WoW... sometimes I bite hoping they truly don't know... others I just let it go.

Kind of silly I guess.

Did not mean to de-rail your post... I am looking forward to swtor one as well... I see a bounty hunter in my future...

Yeah, I'm def mmorpg ignorant. I'm on board when he said sith. I'm not a gamer of al genres but I do recognize cool. Is this dangerous to my marriage? And this I do know the answer to!

Knowing you Matt, it has divorce written all over it. It will still be worth a try. I will write an article on playing an MMO and keeping your marriage. Some simple steps will minimize the relationship trauma. I'm actually coming out of MMO retirement to play this! I have not played one since Star Wars Galaxies which I stopped playing in 2005. I am currently playing Rift to break the wife in. :)

Best way to avoid divorce while playing an MMO is to get her to play too! May sound the jest but its actually very accurate.

Looking forward to this greatly! Signed and Signed.

Hmmmm.....Jawa, why do you always do this to me? You know that I will want to get involved with this considering that I am DEF getting the 40K one. You did this to me for D&D and I couldn't keep up with you lol. Well maybe I'll play, but.....depends on time.

The good thing about Jawa Nation Cho is that you won't have to keep up with me. There will be enough guys all at the same relative levels so that every one will have some one to play with. :) You know you want to! Go join the guild on the site regardless.
