Sorry folks for my prolonged AFK. Taking three grad courses while teaching full time and raising a four year old definitely was more work than I thought it would be. But the good news is the semester just ended! This past Saturday I just submitted my final research paper for the semester. Now I have a couple weeks before my two summer session courses start up... :(
But enough of my woes.
I have a couple of projects coming up. First is my most recent charity endeavor. If you like Ultramarines, than this one is for you! I will be painting two groups of veterans for The Nova Charitable Foundation painting project. Other members of the team are none other than Dave Taylor and John Steining! Two outstanding people and painters. I will do a full post on the project later this week with links and info. Stay tuned.
Another project I have in the works is my Eldar. They have been shelved for a long time, but I think I am going to bust them back out this summer. Once I complete the Veterans I will be working on them. I have a butt load of Wraithguard to do up. I think I am going to do them traditional Iyanden though.
Hopefully soon I will be receiving the first wave of Robotech models from the much delayed and hotly anticipated Robotech kickstarter. Yes they are now over six months late, but they promised that they will be releasing the first wave of models soon to all backers. I am looking forward to painting these guys!
Also I will be doing a few more banners for Dropzone Games soon too.
I havn't heard from Battle for Salvation in a while, so I don't know what is up with the "Best Painted" invitational I promised you, but once I hear from them I will let you know how that stands.
Ok so the first official charity project post in a couple days. Stay tuned!
