Wicked indeed. I'm beginning to think we need a hogs of war banner - jawa style.
Looks like you misaligned the diamond at the bottom and didn't fill it in between the fingers on the right claw. But then I can't produce anything even close to this level of quality, so I should just shut my mouth before I stick my foot in it.
Hogs of War! Lets talk. :) And Darth Yoda. I might be a little misaligned at the bottom, but the right hand fingers are intentionally not filled in. It actually looked a little funny with two little spots of red there between the fingers. As for the bottom, you don't actually see the bottom point of the diamond on the real banner. But I have to say, this was pretty damn close for HAND PAINTED! This is not a laser print reproduction. :)

Did you ever find out what the runes across the top stood for/meant/spelled/invoked? :)
Nope, never got em translated. I really only cared for the sake of having to hand paint them all. If they didnt mean any thing I was going to just fudge them. But I instead spent the time needed to eyeball them all perfectly. All those letters were painted on the first run! No small feat to be sure. I did not draw them out with a pencil first. :)
I'm inspired. I'll start smaller, but I love these banners.

If anyone is ever in Brisbane Australia, go Check out the GW Store in Mt. Gravatt.
Known locally as "The Fang" it boasts the exact banner as well as all 12 Great Company Seals.
Its the largest GW store in the Southern Hemisphere and has 17 6'x4' tables and 6 4'x4' tables.
Now THAT was a shameless plug! But yes, go check out that store. I love seeing peeps getting themselves into local stores.
