Tournament Time! Bring on Battle for Salvation

The rest of the year is going to be a flurry of event scheduling for me. May is a slow month for Grand Tournaments, so I won't be traveling any where, but that just means I can hit up the local scene!
Coming up May 14 is an 1850 tournament at Toy Wiz in Nanuet NY. I went to their last one and won so I will be trying my luck a second time!
But the big reason why I am posting today is The Battle for Salvation. First off is a smaller RTT that will be held May 21st. To read the announcement for that tournament check HERE. Battle for Salvation is a 40k gamer club based in White Plains, NY. I have no idea just how many members there are, but I can estimate at least 50+. The club has grown steadily over the last five years and puts on a few small tournaments. They are well run and fun to play in! I got stomped last time by Danny Internets, but I won the two before that. So I will be going again this time hoping to get a rematch against him and give him some payback.
It should be noted that some of the best players in the country travel from all over the North East to go to the BFF events. The competition is nothing to laugh at and walking away with a win is no small feat. It should also be noted that resident Necron master Fritz played them in one of them and actually went 3-0! I still won though because despite going undefeated he only managed to score enough total points to come in 5th or so. But it was still a feat!
So if you would like to get in some games vs the likes of Fritz, Me, Brother Captain James, Black Matt, Danny Internets, Alex Fennel, Bill McFadden and many many more, come on out!
That brings me to THE Battle for Salvation. It is a 5 game Nova style grand tournament taking place Columbus Day Weekend hosted by BFS. You can find more info about this GT and the smaller RTT at the BFS website HERE. Last year people traveled from all over to take part in the BFSGT. Mike Brandt from The Nova won, and there was no shortage of internet talent there as well. Stelek even flew out!
The BFS gt will round out my fall GT schedule, in addition to The Nova, DaBoyz, and Mechanicon.
Add it to your list of things to do!
Hope to see you guys there.
One thing I will add to this is that you should NOT wait. BFS tickets are a hot commodity and these events WILL fill up quickly. Get your tickets early or you won't get one at all.

I wish I could go, but with distance and that I'm still working on my ramp up to 1850 (I refuse to play anyone outside my group until my army is ready and painted).
But speaking of Tournaments do you know of any in the Ohio area?
Ive been planning on going to that since Ive missed out last year, I probably will even be able to attend the RTT on the 21st.
I bought a ticket online jawa for the RTT. Does your club send you the ticket?
I will be playing in Sacramento on May 21st!
Anyways, Jawa - thanks for the inspiration man:
